It's Official - Synergy Leader is a Supply Chain Pro to Know
SnapFulfil’s Chief Product & Delivery Officer, Smitha Raphael, has been named a winner in Supply & Demand Chain Executive's 2023 Pros to Know award.
This coveted award is by a leading industry title that positions itself as the only publication covering the entire global supply chain – and recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage.
2023's select list includes individuals and teams who have helped clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet today's and tomorrow's extraordinary logistical and supply chain challenges.
What’s more, this latest recognition follows hot on the heels of Smitha being selected as one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2022 Top Women in Supply Chain winners – and as a standout achiever no less!
Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics Editor in Chief, Marina Mayer, said: “This year’s list is filled with supply chain professionals whose achievements and success stories have helped move the needle in the supply chain. They promote safety, sustainability and workforce development. They work toward helping heal the supply chain. They are actually making a difference in the supply chain.
“We received close to 400 nominations this year, the highest number of nominations ever for this award. It’s proof that today’s supply chain professionals are doing great things for the industry. They embody what a true leader should be. And, without their initiatives, programs and collaborative efforts, today’s supply chains would be in worse shape.”
Rich Pirrotta, Group CEO of Synergy Logistics, added: “Once again this accolade is very much deserved. Smitha is an exceptional customer and outcome focused leader, with the intellectual curiosity, domain expertise, and problem-solving skills to deliver outstanding results for customers and partners in the supply chain sector.
“Just one example is Smitha leading her team to deliver for a fast-growing Ag tech company that was looking to launch 25 new distribution centers across the US, Canada, and Australia. This customer had several challenges, including the creation of new product categories for Hazmat and Pharma SKUs with customer code, plus being able to rapidly onboard new hires and temps. Smitha set the template for each DC, ultimately working with the customer on four sites and enabling them to launch the remainder on their own while meeting the aggressive 12-month timeline. As a result of her work, the customer quickly tripled their number of clients.”
